Tasting Notes:
Aromas of crisp green apples and spice with hints of vanilla toast and butter. This Chardonnay is crisp on the palate with lingering flavors of honey and lemon.
Vineyard Notes:
Early bud break with excellent weather during flowering and set. Normal weather patterns during the growing season allowed a bumper crop. A very cool August allowed the grapes to hang on the vines well into September which produced some excellent flavors.
Production Notes:
The grapes were crushed, pressed and settled on the first day, then racked off settlings and inoculated. After fermentation, the wine was racked again off the lees and kept in stainless steel tanks at 55 degrees.
Other Notes:
Blend: 100% Chardonnay
